Role Description
This full-time Umbraco /.NET Developer role is a hybrid position based in Glasgow City, with the ability to work from home by arrangement. You will build, maintain, and enhance Umbraco-based websites and.NET business applications, focusing on clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
Day-to-day Responsibilities
- Implementing new features
- Integrating third-party systems and APIs
- Participating in data migration activities
- Optimising site performance and security

The role involves collaborating with our clients, project managers, and other developers to translate requirements into high-quality technical solutions, as well as troubleshooting issues and delivering fixes in line with client expectations.

Qualifications
- Strong experience with Umbraco CMS, including large websites and understanding of Umbraco APIs and customisation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft.NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET MVC/Core) and related web frameworks.
- Solid front-end skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end practices for responsive, accessible sites.
- Experience with system integrations, APIs, and data migration between platforms.
- Understanding of secure, scalable architecture for enterprise, multi-site, or multi-lingual solutions.
- Familiarity with source control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve performance, reliability, and usability issues in production environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to writing elegant, maintainable code.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a hybrid team environment.
- Prior experience in agency or multi-client settings and public sector or professional services projects is beneficial.
