About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Support Analyst to join Atos’s dynamic technical support team. This role involves providing third-line support for applications managed within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring high levels of system performance, reliability, and user satisfaction. The Support Analyst will participate in a rotational schedule, monitoring the ServiceNow system for new calls and incidents, and addressing complex technical issues that require deep expertise. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a collaborative environment, supporting cutting-edge digital solutions, and contributing to the seamless operation of critical enterprise applications. The successful candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), supporting new initiatives, upgrades, and client-specific implementations, ensuring that all functionalities are effectively communicated and deployed.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with proficiency in relevant programming and scripting languages, as well as experience working in enterprise environments. Essential qualifications include expertise in C# and ASP.NET, familiarity with .NET Core, and experience with SQL Server, including scripting and using SQL tools such as SQL Profiler. Knowledge of PowerShell and Windows Server environments is also required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly to diverse audiences. Eligibility for BPSS clearance is mandatory, which requires candidates to have lived and worked continuously in the UK for at least three years. A proactive attitude, willingness to participate in an on-call rota, and a commitment to ongoing professional development are also essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a rotational schedule to monitor the ServiceNow system for new calls and incidents, ensuring timely response and resolution within SLA targets.
  • Provide advanced third-line support for applications, addressing issues related to functionality, data integrity, integration, and performance that users encounter.
  • Respond to user requests by providing guidance on application usage, troubleshooting, and resolving technical faults to maintain optimal system performance.
  • Develop, test, and implement fixes for identified issues, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users and business operations.
  • Conduct operational maintenance activities, including system updates, patches, and performance tuning to ensure continued reliability.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on supported applications, assisting with new initiatives, upgrades, and client-specific deployments.
  • Coordinate the handover process of new or modified functionality from development teams, including performing software upgrades and ensuring comprehensive understanding for effective client support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve support processes and contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives.
