Role Description
This is a remote, 3 month contract role for a .NET C# Developer at £400-£600 per day, depending on experience.
The developer will build, maintain, and enhance back-end services and APIs using C# and the .NET ecosystem, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable solutions for client projects.
Day-to-day Responsibilities
- Implementing new features
- Refactoring legacy code
- Debugging and resolving issues
- Writing unit and integration tests
The role involves collaborating with consultants and other engineers to understand business requirements, translating them into technical designs, and integrating services with cloud platforms and third-party systems.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
- Commercial experience in C# and the .NET framework or.NET Core.
- Experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integration (SQL/NoSQL).
- Ability to design, implement, and maintain secure, performant, and testable server-side code, following clean code.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure and AWS) and common development tools (Git, CI/CD pipelines, issue tracking systems).
- Comfort working in a remote consulting environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and communicating clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with security best practices, authentication/authorisation, and compliance considerations in web applications is beneficial.
- Relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
