About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer to join our dynamic team based in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, or remotely within the UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on one of the most ambitious.NET and C# projects undertaken since the inception of the World Wide Web. The successful candidate will be involved in developing cutting-edge applications, utilizing a broad spectrum of technologies including.NET 10.0, C# 14, ASP.NET Core, and cloud-based solutions such as Azure AI and Azure SQL. The role requires a proactive individual with a passion for innovation and a desire to contribute to a major digital transformation initiative. Full training will be provided in advanced technologies like.NET MAUI, ML.NET, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous growth and skill enhancement. This position offers a unique chance to be part of a major force in the internet industry, working on projects that influence millions of users worldwide.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in software development with proven experience in .NET and C#. A strong understanding of ASP.NET Core and Azure SQL is essential. Candidates should demonstrate familiarity with modern development practices, including version control with GitHub, containerization using Docker, and orchestration with Kubernetes. Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML and CSS is desirable. While prior experience with .NET 10.0, C# 14, ML.NET, and Azure AI is advantageous, comprehensive training will be provided to bridge any gaps. Candidates must have a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are critical for success in this role. Applicants must be based in the UK and hold the legal right to work there.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions using the latest.NET technologies.
