Ember Technology .NET Software Engineer
Ember Technology is entering an exciting new phase by integrating.NET technologies into our suite of solutions, and we're seeking a .NET Software Engineer to spearhead this initiative. This strategic position offers the unique opportunity to shape the direction of our.NET projects and influence the integration of.NET frameworks within our development practices. Your Role
- Framework Development: Establish and guide the adoption of.NET technologies, particularly focusing on ASP.NET, MVC, C#, and Visual Studio within our projects.
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement robust, large-scale applications and databases utilising MS SQL Server and modern cloud infrastructures like Azure or AWS.
- Strategic Direction: Play a key role in strategic project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring the integration of.NET aligns with our business goals and technological advancements.
- Team Development: Lead and expand a team of developers by setting technical standards, providing mentorship, and fostering an environment of growth and innovation.
- Independent Oversight: Manage projects independently, with a proactive approach to problem-solving, decision-making, and process improvement in a dynamic project environment.

Requirements
- Extensive.NET Experience: Strong background in.NET development, including hands-on experience with web application frameworks such as AngularJS and web services like WCF and Web API.
- Proven Leadership Skills: Ability to work independently, with a vision towards growing into a people management role.
- Educational Background: Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Comprehensive Software Development Skills: Proficient across the entire software development lifecycle, with a solid understanding of software design patterns and cloud architecture.
- Agile Expertise: Experienced with Agile methodologies and the ability to integrate Agile practices into project and team management.
- Umbraco: Experience in Umbraco would be advantageous.
