About The Role
We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join our talented development team at Tech4 Ltd. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, enhancing, and supporting a range of customer-facing, operational, and internal systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C# and .NET technologies, with hands-on experience in building APIs, web services, and integrations. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects, contribute to the full software development lifecycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The successful applicant will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, balancing new development with ongoing maintenance and support of existing systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical skills and experience, including:
- Proven commercial experience developing software using C# and .NET frameworks
- Experience in building or supporting APIs, web services, and system integrations
- Proficiency with ASP.NET and ASP.NET Core
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including database design and querying
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar tools for work tracking, build, and deployment
- Experience working within a structured software development environment in a team setting
- Ability to troubleshoot and support live applications effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and practical approach to technical challenges
- Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:
- Developing, enhancing, testing, and supporting .NET-based applications, APIs, and integrations
- Working on customer-facing, operational, and internal systems to improve their reliability, usability, and business value
- Collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, analysts, and third-party vendors to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Building and maintaining system integrations between internal platforms and external service providers
- Supporting ongoing maintenance activities, troubleshooting defects, resolving performance issues, and managing production incidents
- Participating in technical design discussions to ensure solutions are secure, maintainable, and aligned with best engineering practices
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established standards
- Conducting code reviews, supporting peer development, and sharing knowledge within the team
- Assisting with software releases, deployment processes, and post-deployment support
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of development practices, documentation, and technical resilience
- Utilizing Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines to support structured and efficient software delivery
- Fostering a collaborative team environment focused on delivery and quality enhancement
- Performing ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Head of IT and engaging in personal and team development activities

Tech4 Ltd offers an attractive compensation package, including a competitive basic salary in the range of 55,000 to 60,000 GBP, complemented by excellent benefits.
