What You Would Do
Typical responsibilities could include:
- Developing and maintaining backend services and APIs using C# and ASP.NET
- Building and integrating microservices within distributed system architectures
- Writing and optimizing SQL queries and managing relational databases
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with DevOps on deployment processes
- Working with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) to design scalable solutions
- Collaborating with frontend developers and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated features
- Contributing to code reviews and maintaining code quality standards
- Troubleshooting and debugging production issues

What You Could Bring
Most roles of this type require the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of professional experience with C# and.NET (ASP.NET,.NET Core or.NET 5+)
- Strong experience with relational databases and SQL
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices design patterns
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure or AWS
- Understanding of distributed systems and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
Nice-to-have qualifications include:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate or Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD)
- Experience with React or other modern frontend frameworks
- Knowledge of design patterns (UML, BPMN) and architectural principles
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform)
- Familiarity with additional languages such as Python or Java / Spring Boot
