About the Role
We are seeking a .NET Developer to join a growing technology team responsible for designing, building, and supporting scalable backend systems and APIs. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, writing clean and maintainable code, and contributing to high-quality software delivered through modern engineering practices.
You will work closely with Product Owners, QA Engineers, DevOps specialists, and fellow developers to deliver reliable, cloud-based solutions that support key business objectives. The role offers the opportunity to work with modern Microsoft technologies in a collaborative and agile environment.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using.NET and C#.
- Build and support RESTful APIs and web services using JSON data exchange.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through to deployment and support.
- Contribute to Test Driven Development (TDD) practices and maintain high standards of code quality.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, QA Engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support containerised deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across development and production environments.
Requirements
- Commercial experience developing backend applications using.NET and C#.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Good understanding of SQL Server and/or MySQL databases.
- Experience working with Docker and containerised applications.
- Understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with Azure services, Git source control, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.

Desirable Experience
- Experience with Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience working with Azure DevOps.
- Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation and microservices architectures.
