About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer (Contract) to join our dynamic development team for an initial 12-month engagement, with the possibility of extension. This role is based in Bromley with a hybrid work model requiring three days on-site per week. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting critical applications built on the.NET framework (4.6+), along with some Python development work. You will work closely with international teams across North Carolina, Jersey City, Singapore, India, and London, contributing to projects that are vital to our client's operational success. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work on innovative projects within a collaborative environment, utilizing your technical expertise to deliver high-quality solutions.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in software development, particularly with the .NET framework (C#,.NET Core) and Python. A strong understanding of web services (REST, SOAP) and API design and documentation best practices is essential. Candidates should have hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, including TSQL, SSIS, and SSRS, and familiarity with version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket. Experience with job scheduling tools like Autosys is also required. Additional familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, and ASP.NET MVC is advantageous. The candidate must demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. A proactive mindset and a willingness to adopt new technologies and innovative solutions are highly valued.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software applications utilizing.NET (4.5+ /.NET Core) and Python, ensuring they meet functional and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and design effective technical solutions.
- Provide ongoing support to team members and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution and timely delivery.
- Engage with technical and business colleagues to understand functional requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Design, develop, and document APIs, leveraging your knowledge of Web Services (REST, SOAP) to ensure seamless integration and interoperability.
- Work with MS SQL Server, including TSQL, SSIS, and SSRS, to manage databases, develop reports, and optimize data workflows.
- Utilize version control systems such as Git or Bitbucket to manage code repositories and maintain code integrity.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by adopting best practices, code reviews, and process enhancements.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve technical issues with a keen eye for detail, ensuring high standards of quality and reliability.
