About The Role

We are seeking a skilled.Net Developer to join an industry-leading software company based in South Bristol. This on-site position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic Agile Development team responsible for creating innovative solutions for some of the UK’s largest and most successful businesses. The role involves contributing to the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and design to deployment and support. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical skills and relevant qualifications, including:

  • Proven experience with.NetCore/8, C#, Web API, and ASP.Net
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is desirable
  • A solid understanding of SOLID principles, Object-Oriented Analysis, and Object-Oriented Design
  • Strong SQL skills, with experience in MySQL or similar relational databases
  • Relevant degree or qualification in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in designing and developing user interfaces, database models, and architecture
  • Ability to work effectively in a busy, growing environment and a willingness to learn new skills

Responsibilities

The successful.Net Developer will be responsible for a range of technical and collaborative tasks, including:

  • Contributing to the architecture, design, development, and support of.Net applications
  • Designing and developing scalable backend services and APIs using C#
  • Building integrations with third-party systems and services using REST APIs, JSON, and XML
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving production issues efficiently
  • Supporting and maintaining cloud-hosted applications to ensure optimal performance and security
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Participating in code reviews and adhering to best coding practices
  • Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve development processes
