About The Role

We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join our client's expanding team in Hull, Yorkshire, UK. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge enterprise-level software projects utilizing the latest technologies including.NET 10.0, ASP.NET Core, C# 14, and Azure. As a key contributor, you will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining innovative software solutions that align with the company's vision of transforming inspiration into reality. The position is ideal for a full-stack engineer with a strong foundation in backend development, RESTful API design, and frontend frameworks such as Angular and Vue.js. Whether working remotely or on-site, you will collaborate with a talented team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of software development and delivering impactful products to clients worldwide.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in software development with expertise in Microsoft technologies and modern programming practices. Candidates should have:

  • Proven experience in.NET development, particularly with.NET 10.0 and.NET Core frameworks.
  • Strong proficiency in C# 14 and ASP.NET Core Web API development.
  • Experience working with Azure cloud services and Azure SQL databases.
  • Knowledge of frontend frameworks such as Angular 21 and Vue.js, along with TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with multithreading, RESTful API design, and ORM tools like EF Core 10.0.
  • Understanding of software development principles including SOLID, DRY, LINQ, and MongoDB.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in Agile environments.
  • Relevant academic qualifications or certifications in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Right to work in the UK and residing within the UK.

Responsibilities

As a.NET Developer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing scalable, high-quality software solutions using.NET 10.0, ASP.NET Core, and C# 14.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical specifications and project requirements.
  • Implementing RESTful APIs and integrating them with frontend components built with Angular and Vue.js.
  • Participating in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure software quality and performance.
  • Utilizing Azure cloud services for deployment, scalability, and security enhancements.
  • Contributing to architecture decisions and providing technical guidance to junior team members.
  • Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve development processes.
  • Supporting the maintenance and enhancement of existing applications and systems.
  • Engaging actively in Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning and retrospectives.
