Project Overview
A global FMCG business is seeking a .NET Developer to join their operations and analytics team. The role involves building new applications and improving existing ones that support the production process from raw materials to finished products. The company is also keen on incorporating AI-assisted development tools like Claude to enhance productivity.

- Location: Scotland
- Duration: Initial 6 months, high probability to extend
- Rate: Flexible (£400-£450) depending on years of experience
- IR35: Outside, pending final determination
Key Responsibilities
- Develop applications supporting the end-to-end production process.
- Create systems for stock management and quality sampling.
- Maintain and improve existing applications, addressing technical debt.
- Use AI coding tools such as Claude to accelerate development processes.
- Collaborate with operations and analytics teams to understand and deliver requirements.
Required Skills and Experience

- 3 to 5 years of experience as a.NET Developer.
- Proficient in C# and .NET development.
- Hands-on experience in building and deploying applications on Azure.
- Experience or strong interest in using AI coding tools like Claude or GitHub Copilot.
- Comfortable working with both new builds and existing codebases.
- Bonus: Experience with operational or manufacturing system development.

- Functional applications supporting production processes.
- Stock management and quality sampling systems.
- Improved existing codebase with reduced technical debt.
- Utilisation of AI coding assistance tools to improve development speed and quality.
Salary
400 - 450 GBP Per day
