About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior.Net Developer with expertise in C# and VB.Net to join our dynamic team based in North London. This role is pivotal in developing, maintaining, and enhancing our financial management systems and backend infrastructure. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including SAP consultants, frontend developers, and DevOps engineers, to deliver seamless integrations and high-performance APIs. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned developer to contribute to impactful projects within a growing organization, utilizing their technical expertise to improve system efficiency, security, and scalability.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend development, with proven expertise in .NET technologies and database management. They should demonstrate a strong understanding of RESTful API design, SQL Server optimization, and integration with enterprise systems such as SAP Business One. Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, Swagger for API documentation, and version control workflows is essential. A background in web and Windows Forms development, along with knowledge of cloud infrastructure and web frontend technologies, will be advantageous. Candidates must exhibit excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- API Development: Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs in VB.Net and C#, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange with SQL Server and SAP Business One backend systems.
- Database Management: Develop optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies to handle large datasets effectively and improve system performance.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and enhance the performance of APIs, database queries, and application scalability to meet business requirements.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for APIs, database schemas, and backend infrastructure to facilitate ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with SAP consultants, frontend developers, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless system integration and deployment.
- Code Quality: Conduct thorough code reviews, debugging, and implement error handling procedures to uphold system reliability and security.
- Best Practices: Stay updated with industry standards related to API design, database tuning, and cloud services, applying these best practices to ongoing projects.
