About The Role
The Senior Software Engineer (.NET / Azure) role at Ocho offers a unique opportunity to work on complex, enterprise-grade systems within a fast-paced, innovative environment. This fully remote position is ideal for experienced developers who are passionate about designing and architecting scalable, multi-tenant SaaS solutions. You will be instrumental in shaping technical decisions, developing frameworks, and contributing to the architectural landscape of critical software products. Your work will directly influence the technical direction of projects, allowing you to exercise your expertise in .NET Core, Azure cloud services, NoSQL databases, and API development. This role is designed for engineers who thrive on technical challenge, value high-quality code, and enjoy working in a collaborative, agile setting.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience.
- Proven expertise in .NET and Java, particularly in enterprise software environments.
- Hands-on experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
- Strong knowledge of design patterns, software architecture, and language-agnostic design principles.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra and Cosmos DB.
- Proficiency in developing and consuming RESTful APIs, including SOAP, XML, and JSON.
- Familiarity with queue-based messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Event Hub.
- Solid understanding of relational databases including Oracle and SQL Server.
- Experience working in Agile teams, utilizing Scrum or similar methodologies.
- Proficiency with version control tools such as Git, and project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade software solutions utilizing.NET Core and Azure cloud services.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
- Create and refine frameworks and reusable components for use across multiple projects.
- Lead efforts in developing multi-tenant SaaS architectures, ensuring efficiency and robustness.
- Implement test-driven development practices, writing extensive unit and integration tests to uphold code quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts, and other engineering teams to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
- Document architectural decisions, system designs, and best practices to foster knowledge sharing within the team.
- Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continually enhance the technical landscape.
