NET Full Stack Senior Software Engineer

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the technology behind a business-critical content production and delivery platform for a leading global fashion retailer. Working with modern agentic AI and accelerated development practices, you'll help build and evolve applications using .NET Core, React, Docker, and Kubernetes, while championing engineering best practices such as TDD and CI/CD automation. Your work will directly support the creation, management, and delivery of high-quality digital content at scale, enabling engaging customer experiences for millions of users worldwide.

- Work as part of an enthusiastic and motivated Agile development team that takes pride in delivering high-quality software into production.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, product stakeholders, and engineers to break down feature requirements into well-defined backlog items for development.
- Continuously enhance and improve existing codebases, platforms, and technologies while contributing to the design and delivery of new features and capabilities.
- Contribute to the adoption of engineering best practices, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with modern software development standards.
- Mentor junior team members, share technical knowledge, and support the team in achieving sprint goals and delivery commitments.
- Work collaboratively across cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive operational efficiency and business value.
Key Skills And Experience
- A customer first mindset
- Expertise and experience in a broad base of technologies, ideally.NET Core (C#) & ASP.NET Core, CosmosDB, SQL, Azure ServiceBus, AKS, React/node.js
- Agentic & vibe coding practices
- A good understanding of the Application Lifecycle and a solid understanding of Quality Assurance, Database Engineering and Build and deployment
- An appreciation for a properly layered architecture
- An ability to understand and model the business domain
- In-depth knowledge of the tools and practices available and appropriate to each phase of software delivery, such as:
- DDD, TDD, BDD, Integration Testing, Performance Testing
- CQRS, Event Sourcing, Event Storming
- CI, Continuous Delivery, Build Automation
- JavaScript and associated UI frameworks and web technologies
- Relational and non-relational database technologies (e.g. SQL Server and Cosmos)
- Cloud based development & delivery platforms (ideally Microsoft Azure)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A constant drive for self-improvement
- An ability to actively promote ideas and techniques within the team
- A desire to be at the forefront of technical discussion and design
- A product focus with a desire to build great experiences for our customers
