About The Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Tunbridge Wells, West Kent. This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects involving C#.NET development with some front-end experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in back-end development, complemented by familiarity with front-end technologies such as React, JavaScript, and TypeScript. A keen interest in artificial intelligence (AI) and experience using AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT will be highly valued. The successful applicant will collaborate within an Agile environment, contributing to the development and enhancement of innovative software solutions that meet client requirements and drive business growth.

- Proven experience in C#.NET development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies, preferably SCRUM.
- Strong SQL skills and understanding of database design and management.
- Knowledge of AI concepts and practical experience using AI tools like Claude and ChatGPT.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust C#.NET applications aligned with project requirements.
- Contribute to front-end development using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript to create intuitive user interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze technical requirements.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation to ensure maintainability and scalability.
- Integrate AI tools and technologies into existing and new software solutions to enhance functionality.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, including advancements in AI and software development.
