About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in a flexible hybrid setup between London and Horsham. In this role, you will be responsible for developing reliable C#/.NET services, APIs, and data integrations that form the backbone of our workforce management platform. You will take ownership of features from initial design through to deployment, ensuring they meet high standards of testability, security, and performance. Collaboration is key, and you will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA, Product, and Data to deliver innovative solutions that address customer needs. The ideal candidate will be proactive in using AI-assisted tools to streamline development processes while maintaining rigorous validation standards. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability and scalability of our software, and you will play a vital role in incident response, code reviews, and ongoing product improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development with a focus on C# and the .NET framework. You should have proven experience in building scalable APIs and data integration services. A solid understanding of software security principles, testing methodologies, and performance optimization is essential. Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as Azure or AWS, is desirable. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and a collaborative mindset. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, along with relevant professional certifications. Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with AI-assisted development tools will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain reliable C#/.NET services, APIs, and data integrations that support our workforce management platform.
  • Take ownership of features from conception to deployment, ensuring they meet security, performance, and testability standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA, Product, and Data to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Utilize AI-assisted tools judiciously to enhance development efficiency while maintaining rigorous validation protocols.
  • Participate in incident response activities, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues promptly.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and promote best practices within the team.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvements, automation, and technical innovation.
  • Contribute to documentation, testing, and deployment processes to ensure smooth and reliable software releases.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into our platform.
