About The Role
We are seeking a skilled VB.NET Web Developer to join our dedicated development team. In this role, you will work closely with the core team on HotLizard's existing products and upcoming projects, focusing on developing new features, enhancing user experience, and advancing our platform through innovative solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to write clean, efficient, and scalable code, ensuring our products remain competitive and meet the evolving needs of our clients. The environment encourages autonomy and minimizes unnecessary bureaucracy, allowing you to concentrate fully on software development. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years of professional experience working with VB.NET. A strong understanding of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL is essential. Candidates should demonstrate self-motivation, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and excellent communication skills. A solid work ethic, positive attitude, and ability to work effectively within a team are critical. Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using VB.NET in accordance with project specifications and best practices.

- Optimize existing codebases for performance, scalability, and security.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and quality benchmarks.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
- Support the integration of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like ASP.NET MVC and Web Forms.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
