About The Role

We are seeking a skilled VB.NET Web Developer to join our dedicated development team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting and enhancing HotLizard’s core products and sports-related platforms. Your primary responsibility will be to develop new features, improve user experience, and ensure the stability and scalability of our web applications using the latest technologies and best practices. The ideal candidate will work closely with the product management and design teams to translate business requirements into high-quality software solutions. Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of professional experience working with VB.NET.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
  • Self-motivation and a drive to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to development tasks.
  • Experience in web technologies and frameworks will have an added advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web applications using VB.NET, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
  • Enhance existing features and develop new functionalities to improve user experience and platform capabilities.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Assist in database design, optimization, and management to support application needs.
  • Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate them into development processes where applicable.
  • Document technical specifications and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
