About The Role
Our Essex-based client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated.NET Windows Developer to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced environment focused on delivering cutting-edge software solutions. The successful candidate will be instrumental in modernizing legacy systems, developing new enterprise Windows applications, and supporting cloud migration initiatives. The role requires a proactive individual with a passion for technology, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality software that makes a tangible impact.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years' commercial experience with C# and.NET/.NET Core frameworks.
- Proven expertise with Windows Forms (WinForms) or Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF).
- Strong SQL Server and T-SQL skills with at least 3 years of practical experience.
- Experience working with APIs, integrations, and enterprise-grade applications.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Visual Studio environment.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and software development lifecycle best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within Agile teams and adapt to evolving project requirements.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust Windows applications and services aligned with business needs.
- Refactor and migrate legacy codebases into modern C# .NET solutions to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and end-users to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet organizational goals.
- Support and contribute to cloud and Azure-based architecture initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to Agile delivery processes, and assist in technical planning and documentation.
- Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into development processes.
