About The Role
We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Developer to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in NetSuite customization and development, with a focus on SuiteScript 2.x, JavaScript, and related web technologies. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects, develop innovative solutions, and contribute to the digital transformation initiatives of a forward-thinking organization. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions that align with business goals.
Qualifications
- Qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of three years of relevant commercial experience
- Proven expertise in NetSuite development, including SuiteScript 2.x, Advanced PDF development, and workflow configuration
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles, web services, XML, and SQL
- Experience in team leadership or mentorship roles
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
- Additional knowledge of SAP Business ByDesign, Linode, unit testing, Agile methodologies, and tools such as GitHub and WebStorm

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement custom solutions within the NetSuite platform using SuiteScript 2.x and other web technologies.
- Create and maintain advanced PDF templates using NetSuite's PDF development tools and Freemarker.
- Configure and optimize NetSuite workflows to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Integrate NetSuite with external systems using Web Services, XML, and other API technologies.
- Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to foster team growth and skill development.
- Participate in Agile development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Maintain documentation of technical solutions and system configurations for future reference and compliance.
