About The Role
We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Developer to join our client's dynamic team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in NetSuite customization, SuiteScript, and web development technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining NetSuite solutions that enhance business processes and improve operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the digital transformation initiatives of a forward-thinking organization. The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should hold a qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of three years of relevant commercial experience in NetSuite development or similar environments is essential. Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles and full software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes is required. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, SuiteScript 2.x, and web technologies such as HTML, JQuery, and React.js is necessary. Experience with NetSuite Advanced PDF development, Freemarker templates, and workflow automation tools will be highly advantageous. Candidates with knowledge of SAP Business ByDesign, Linode, and related tools will be preferred. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral, are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities
The NetSuite Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom solutions within the NetSuite environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and maintaining SuiteScripts, workflows, and custom modules that align with business requirements.
- Integrating NetSuite with third-party web services, XML, and SQL databases to facilitate seamless data exchange.
- Collaborating with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Performing unit testing.
- Participating in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
- Mentoring junior team members.
- Contributing to Agile development processes.
- Staying updated with the latest NetSuite features and industry trends.
- Ensuring data security.
- Optimizing system performance.
- Documenting technical specifications.
