Overview

We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Manufacturing Consultant to support the implementation, optimization, and enhancement of NetSuite ERP within a manufacturing environment. The successful contractor will work closely with business stakeholders, operations, supply chain, production, finance, and technical teams to deliver scalable manufacturing solutions aligned with business objectives.

This role requires deep expertise in NetSuite Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Production processes, along with strong business analysis and solution design skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of NetSuite Manufacturing functionality.
  • Gather and document business requirements through workshops and stakeholder interviews.
  • Configure and optimize manufacturing processes including:
    • Work Orders
    • Assemblies and Bill of Materials (BOMs)
    • Routings
    • Work Centers
    • Production Scheduling
    • Demand Planning
    • Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
    • Inventory Management
  • Advise on best practices for manufacturing operations within NetSuite.
  • Support end-to-end ERP implementation activities, including solution design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live.
  • Collaborate with technical consultants and developers on customizations, integrations, and reporting requirements.
  • Develop functional specifications and review technical designs.
  • Execute system testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and issue resolution.
  • Provide user training and knowledge transfer to business teams.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Support post-go-live stabilization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite consulting experience.
  • Strong expertise in NetSuite Manufacturing and Supply Chain modules.
  • Experience implementing manufacturing solutions within NetSuite ERP.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Manufacturing operations
    • Inventory Management
    • Supply Chain
    • Procurement
    • Warehouse Management
    • Production Planning
  • Experience with Advanced Manufacturing and WIP & Routing is highly desirable.
  • Strong business process mapping and requirements gathering skills.
  • Experience conducting workshops with business stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NetSuite ERP Consultant or SuiteFoundation certification.
  • Experience with multi-site or global manufacturing organizations.
  • Experience with SuiteAnalytics, Saved Searches, and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, and third-party integrations.
  • Experience working within Agile project environments.
