About the role
My client is an established, growing UK business. NetSuite is already live and supporting their day-to-day operations. The system works, but there is a lot more it could be doing for the business.
They’re looking for an experienced NetSuite professional to become their in-house expert. You’ll get to know the system inside out, find where it can work better, and deliver improvements that make a real difference to teams across the business.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the business’s NetSuite expert and main point of contact for system queries and changes.
- Review existing configuration and processes, and recommend and deliver improvements.
- Optimise inventory and order management processes for accuracy and efficiency.
- Build and maintain saved searches, workflows, reports, dashboards, and forms.
- Manage users, roles, and permissions.
- Work closely with the finance team to make sure processes run smoothly in NetSuite.
- Lead process change, including user training and documentation.
- Support and develop a junior team member.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
