NetSuite Technical Lead

Location: Remote

Salary: £70,000 – £90,000 + discretionary bonus

About the Role

A growing finance transformation consultancy is looking for an experienced NetSuite Technical Lead to join and help shape its newly established NetSuite practice.

This is a key technical hire with the opportunity to take ownership of the technical delivery across NetSuite implementation projects, working closely with senior consultants, functional specialists, and clients. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering robust NetSuite solutions across complex, multi-entity environments, integrations, and ERP transformation programmes.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems and wants the opportunity to play a significant role in building a NetSuite practice from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical delivery of NetSuite implementation and transformation projects from design through to go-live and hypercare.
  • Design and develop complex NetSuite customisations using SuiteScript 2.x, including Suitelets, Map/Reduce, and other scripting solutions.
  • Design and configure NetSuite workflows, saved searches, reports, forms, and other system customisations.
  • Design and oversee integrations using SuiteTalk, RESTlets, and APIs, working with middleware and third-party platforms where required.
  • Lead technical data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, validation, and migration strategy.
  • Own technical solution design, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with client requirements.
  • Work closely with Functional Consultants and business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership across testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live support.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues, including script performance and NetSuite governance-limit challenges.
  • Establish technical standards, development practices, and documentation for the growing NetSuite practice.
  • Develop reusable technical assets, frameworks, and delivery methodologies to improve implementation quality and efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other NetSuite consultants and developers as the practice grows.
  • Support pre-sales activity, including technical discovery, solution design, and client demonstrations where required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
