IT Systems & Network Support Engineer
Salary: £35,000
Location: Hybrid remote
Division: IT Support Services
Reports to: Support Services Manager
About the Role
We're looking for an IT Systems & Network Support Engineer to join our IT Support Services team. You'll provide first-class technical support to both internal and external customers, keeping their systems and networks running smoothly from troubleshooting day-to-day issues to helping implement new solutions.
What You'll Do
- Resolve Help Desk escalations within SLA targets
- Log, diagnose, and fix support issues owning them through to resolution
- Keep customers and colleagues updated throughout each call
- Provide technical guidance and support pre-and post-sales
- Prepare, configure, and commission hardware and software
- Evaluate new technologies and feed back findings
- Write and maintain clear technical documentation
- Champion good information security practices

What We're Looking For
Technical experience in some of the following:
- Windows Server/desktop support, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
- Microsoft 365/Exchange, Entra ID, Azure
- Intune Autopilot/ImmyBot deployment
- Networking (LAN/WAN/WLAN) configuration and troubleshooting
- VMware/Hyper-V Virtualisation
- Backup, replication, and disaster recovery
- SAN/NAS storage
- Security tools: antivirus, VPN, firewall, MFA/2FA, IAM

You are:
- A confident problem-solver who works well solo or in a team
- Organised, detail-oriented, and great under pressure
- A strong communicator with a customer-first attitude
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities at once
- Security and compliance aware
Qualifications
- Working towards or holding a relevant qualification (NVQ Level 3, CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent)
- Microsoft certifications are a plus, not a requirement
