Role Overview

This senior role has a mix of technical and management responsibilities. You will be part of the ICT Services Senior Management Team contributing to the running of this key Clinical Support Service. The role also includes managing a Network and Telephony specialist.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing Network and Telephony solutions
  • Develop new solutions as the demands of the Trust change
  • Involvement in numerous projects
  • Be the Trust's subject matter expert on all network and telephony matters
  • Manage and be responsible for all Incidents that relate to network or telephony issues
  • Support the wider ICT Services team by giving advice and guidance on technical matters
  • Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructure in line with NHS England cyber security standards and best practices

Recruitment Process

All new starters will commence in post on one fixed start date each month, in line with our Prepare to Care (P2C) induction programme date. P2C offers up to 3 weeks training to support you to meet the induction / initial training requirements of the role.
