Network & Telecoms Manager
NHS Fife is seeking an experienced and motivated Network & Telecoms Manager to lead the delivery, development and continual improvement of our enterprise network and communications services.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Digital Operations leadership team and play a key role in delivering secure, resilient and high-performing digital infrastructure that supports patient care and business services across NHS Fife.
About the Role
As Network & Telecoms Manager, you will be responsible for the leadership and management of a skilled technical team, providing strategic direction and operational oversight for network, telephony and connectivity services across the organisation. You will ensure that critical digital services remain available, secure and fit for purpose while supporting a continuous programme of technological change and service improvement.
- Leadership and Management: Manage a team of 6-8 skilled technicians and a suite of tools to ensure that NHS Fife achieves and maintains the SLAs and KPIs of availability, capacity and performance demanded by a modern Health Board.
- Service Delivery: Organise and manage the team’s contribution towards a constant flow of business change and the wider IT Service Delivery.
- Collaboration: Work with the Network and Telephony Team to offer expert direction on all digital and voice communications for NHS Fife; collaborating with other technical teams, partner organisations and suppliers to ensure a robust, reliable and cost-effective service.

Key Requirements
- Team player with excellent work ethic, communication, and organisational skills.
- Knowledge, skills, and competencies typically gathered during the performance of a similar role or be a developing IT professional with demonstrable aptitude for this post.
- Keen interest in IT Networking and voice technologies and architecture.
- Willingness to develop professional networking with colleagues nationally (Scotland).
- Participation in a 24/7 on-call management rota.
- Regular travel throughout Fife and occasional travel elsewhere in Scotland.

Requirements
