We're looking for an experienced Network Architect to provide architectural leadership and technical assurance across a complex Defence WAN environment.
Working with Customers, suppliers, and technical stakeholders, you'll be responsible for reviewing network designs, supporting service transitions, managing technology lifecycle activities, and ensuring WAN solutions remain secure, compliant, and aligned to future network strategy.

Key Responsibilities
- Assure and govern WAN architecture and supplier designs (HLDs, LLDs, RFCs).
- Support service onboarding, transition, testing, and go-live activities.
- Provide technical leadership across WAN services and network transformation programmes.
- Manage technology lifecycle and obsolescence planning.
- Build strong relationships with Defence stakeholders and suppliers.
- Support architecture governance and technical assurance activities.

What You'll Bring
- Significant experience designing and assuring enterprise WAN solutions.
- Strong knowledge of MPLS, IP networking, SD-WAN, network security, and remote access technologies.
- Experience working in secure, regulated, or Defence environments.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience reviewing technical architecture and design documentation.
Desirable
- TOGAF Practitioner
- Cisco CCNP/CCIE
- JNCIP/JNCIE
- ITIL Foundation
- CISSP or equivalent
