About the Opportunity

The Network Assurance Engineer is responsible for assessing high voltage (HV) and associated low voltage (LV) electrical installations to verify compliance with relevant standards, regulations, client requirements, and company procedures. The role involves undertaking detailed site audits, inspections, and technical assessments of both newly installed and operational electrical assets.

Please note: We are open to UK wide applications, and happy to offer a fully remote working pattern.

What You'll Do

You will identify risks, defects, non-compliances, and opportunities for improvement, supporting safe, compliant, and reliable network performance. The role also supports the review and interpretation of electrical distribution designs, ensuring proposed installations are practical, compliant, and aligned with operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical audits and assessments of newly installed and existing HV and LV electrical installations across a range of client sites.
  • Evaluate electrical assets for compliance with relevant regulations, standards, specifications, and industry best practice.
  • Review, interpret, and validate electrical distribution designs, drawings, schematics, and associated technical documentation.
  • Identify non-compliances, defects, safety concerns, and improvement opportunities, providing clear recommendations and corrective actions.
  • Produce comprehensive audit reports, technical findings, and supporting documentation to a high professional standard.
  • Support project teams by providing technical guidance relating to HV networks, electrical infrastructure, and installation practices.
  • Engage with clients, designers, contractors, and operational teams to communicate findings and drive continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and promote adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality management requirements.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of auditing processes, standards, and technical procedures.
  • Support personal development activities aligned with progression towards an AP or SAP commissioning role.
  • Establish a clear development plan towards AP/SAP commissioning responsibilities, where appropriate.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
