Our client is looking for an experienced Network Automation Engineer with strong hands-on NetBrain expertise to automate network incident diagnostics, evidence collection, and operational workflows within a large enterprise environment. This is a hands-on network automation role where you’ll convert troubleshooting knowledge, operational playbooks, and network engineering processes into secure, reusable, and auditable NetBrain automation. You’ll work closely with Network Operations, Engineering, Tooling, and Service Management teams within a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy NetBrain automation across enterprise network environments.
  • Develop PDAs, Runbooks, Qapps, Data Views, Dynamic Maps, and Network Intents.
  • Translate network troubleshooting playbooks and SOPs into automated diagnostic workflows.
  • Automate network incident diagnostics and evidence collection.
  • Build triggered and interactive workflows for incidents, alerts, and monitored events.
  • Integrate NetBrain with ServiceNow, DX NetOps Spectrum, and other monitoring/observability platforms.
  • Automate collection of device state, topology, network paths, configurations, logs, and telemetry.
  • Develop pre-change/post-change validation, configuration drift, and compliance checks.
  • Work with CMDB/inventory teams to improve device, service, and dependency data used by automation.
  • Partner with L1/L2/L3 Network Engineering teams to validate diagnostic logic.
  • Develop integrations and automation using APIs, JSON, Python, and Ansible.
  • Apply secure engineering, change control, testing, rollback, and audit requirements.
  • Produce technical designs, test evidence, support documentation, and operational metrics.
  • Help reduce MTTR, manual troubleshooting, and avoidable escalations through automation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
