Are you experienced in Network Cable Installation and interested in using your sector knowledge to train, assess and support apprentices through to successful completion?
The Colleges’ Partnership (TCP) is looking for an Apprenticeship Coordinator to support apprentices throughout their programmes. You’ll combine occupational expertise with training, assessment, coaching and progress management, helping apprentices develop their knowledge and skills and progress successfully towards gateway.
You’ll also deliver Functional Skills where required, maintain accurate apprenticeship records and contribute to the quality and compliance of TCP’s apprenticeship provision.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing apprentice work, providing constructive feedback and monitoring progress towards successful gateway.
- Delivering training and underpinning knowledge to support apprentices through their programmes.
- Conducting regular progress reviews in accordance with DfE and Company requirements.
- Delivering initial and diagnostic assessments and Functional Skills maths and/or English teaching as required.
- Coaching and mentoring apprentices, providing information, advice and guidance and identifying where additional support may be needed.
- Delivering and marking controlled assessments and coordinating or invigilating examinations where required.
- Maintaining accurate, compliant apprenticeship records and reporting outstanding reviews or potential suspensions.
- Contributing to standardisation, quality assurance, self-assessment and continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring:
- Current sector competence in Network Cable Installer.
- Experience of assessing apprentices, lesson planning and preparation, delivering apprenticeship training and providing individual and differentiated learner support.
- An Assessor Coach Level 4 and/or Learning and Skills Teacher Level 5 qualification, or an equivalent such as CET or CAVA, or willingness to work towards an appropriate qualification.
- Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent.
- The ability to train and assess up to Level 4 across Telecoms, Networking, Digital and Supply Chain Warehousing, and Levels 1 and 2 Functional Skills.
- Strong communication and digital skills, with the ability to manage your workload effectively and meet deadlines.
- An understanding of safeguarding and equality and diversity.
- A full driving licence, use of a car and willingness to travel and work away from home as required.

- Salary: £29,288 - £32,088
