Network Consultant

Cisco-led all-rounder, London project delivery, up to £75,000

£75,000 + £2,000 Bonus | London / Hybrid | UK Wide Projects

Our client is a well-established network consultancy with a strong Cisco heritage and a growing multi-vendor practice. They're looking for a Network Consultant to join the delivery team — someone who can hit the ground running on enterprise projects, represent the business confidently on customer sites, and work across a broad stack without needing hand-holding.

Cisco is the primary vendor but this isn't a one-platform role. Aruba, Palo Alto, and Fortinet all feature regularly. Design, delivery, wireless, firewalls, infrastructure — you need to be comfortable across all of it. London-accessible is key; the majority of project work is in and around the capital.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Lead and deliver enterprise network projects across a multi-vendor environment — LLD through to full implementation (80% of the role)
  • Produce Low-Level Designs across routing, switching, wireless, and firewall disciplines
  • Represent the business on customer sites — professional, confident, and technically credible
  • Support pre-sales engagements — scoping, technical input, and customer conversations (10%)
  • Act as SME escalation point and participate in a low-volume on-call rota — 1 in 5 rotation, paid additionally (10%)

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
