Leading Bank Looking to Bring on a Network Deployment Engineer

Job Description:
- Ten plus (10+) years of experience in networking environment.
- Responsible to plan and build new network environment.
- Prepare, document, and deploy changes in a network.
- Understand the issues related to day-to-day operations.
- Troubleshoot network issues with a network sniffer like Wireshark; test tools.
- Procedures for voice and data circuits and liaison with carriers and vendors for installations.
Highly Skilled and Experienced Cisco ACI and EVPN Engineer:
- Design, deploy, and manage Application Centric Infrastructure in an enterprise or data center environment.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network architecture, automation, and security with expertise in Cisco ACI solutions.
- This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement scalable, reliable, and secure network solutions that align with business requirements.

Required Skills:
- Certified technical engineer (typically Cisco CCIE or comparable).
- Expertise in Cisco ACI architecture, including APIC, leaf, and spine switches.
- Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V) and their integration with ACI.
- In-depth hands-on experience with common network hardware including F5 Load Balancer, Cisco router, switches, firewalls, etc., together with other preferred technologies.
- Full understanding of ITIL and service management principles and hands-on experience in complex LAN/WAN, MAN, DWDM, SONET architecture.
- Full understanding and operational knowledge of loop prevention protocols like spanning tree protocols.
- In-depth knowledge of L2 protocols like HSRP, VRRP, VTP, 802.1Q, Flex Link, LACP, etc.
- In-depth working knowledge and troubleshooting of IP routing and network protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, spanning tree, multicast, etc.).
- Full understanding of operational knowledge for troubleshooting of Cisco operating systems like IOS and NX-OS.
- Financial services industry experience is preferred.
