The role balances immediate client needs with longer-term technology, service, and commercial objectives, ensuring proposed solutions are practical, sustainable, and aligned to future service requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend client meetings with Sales and Account Management colleagues, providing consultative support, technical expertise, and clear recommendations
  • Develop detailed network topologies, high- and low-level designs, schematics, and related technical documentation
  • Maintain strong technical knowledge of network systems, particularly Cisco, Dell, and Meraki technologies
  • Support complex lifecycle replacement projects to ensure client hardware remains supported and aligned to best practice
  • Develop and maintain client technology roadmaps, IT strategies, and budgets aligned with client goals, commercial priorities, and future service requirements
  • Troubleshoot issues, identify risks, and make recommendations grounded in evidence, cost, value, and supportability
  • Share technical knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement in solution design, documentation, and delivery practices
  • Prioritise workload effectively, provide timely updates, and support successful client handovers and project delivery
  • Complete relevant health and safety training and follow appropriate guidance related to the role

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
