The resource will be responsible for delivering and maintaining the network visibility, packet capture and telemetry collection capabilities required to enable effective threat detection, incident response and security monitoring across the estate.
This role requires frequent travel to the Jersey.
Responsibilities:
- Deploy and configure NDR appliances, sensors and packet capture infrastructure
- Implement and validate network traffic visibility across key network locations
- Onboard network telemetry and security data sources
- Integrate network monitoring capabilities with the MSSP/SOC platform
- Troubleshoot data collection, network mirroring and connectivity issues affecting monitoring coverage
- Maintain technical documentation, network visibility diagrams and operational procedures
- Support tuning and optimisation of network-based detection capabilities

Skills:
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching and firewall technologies
- Proven experience deploying or supporting network monitoring, packet capture or NDR solutions
- Solid knowledge of SPAN ports, TAPs, packet brokers and network telemetry collection methods
- Experience troubleshooting complex network and security infrastructure issues
- Strong collaboration skills across infrastructure, security and third-party supplier teams
