Commissioning Engineer
๐ Location: Glasgow, UK โ Onsite
๐ Contract: Contract Opportunity
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer to support the delivery, integration, and commissioning of enterprise network solutions. You will provide 3rd line technical support, create network configurations, review implementation plans, and ensure successful deployment across customer networks.

Key Skills Required
- Experience designing and supporting LAN & WAN solutions
- Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS
- Hands-on experience with Cisco 2800, 2900, 3800, 3900, ASR900 routers and 2520/4010 switches
- Experience with routing & switching
- Knowledge of PDH, SDH, Xtran
- Familiarity with fibre, copper, leased lines, radio, and 4G technologies
- Ability to write configuration scripts and support network commissioning
- Experience monitoring live network changes and performing risk assessments
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and customer-facing communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Qualifications
- Relevant networking/telecommunications industry experience
- CCNA or CCDA (Mandatory)
- CCNP or CCDP (Desirable)
