Network Engineer - Managed Services Up to £65,000 Per Annum
We're looking for an experienced Network Engineer to join a highly skilled NOC team within a leading technology solutions provider.
You'll support a diverse customer base across sectors including finance, manufacturing, utilities and retail, working across networking, infrastructure, cloud, virtualisation and security.
The Role
- Provide technical support across complex customer environments and managed services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network and infrastructure incidents.
- Contribute to solution design, HLD/LLD, implementations and technical projects.
- Act as a technical escalation point and subject matter expert.
- Work within an ITIL-based service environment, supporting SLAs, KPIs and change/problem management.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota.
- Build strong customer relationships and deliver a high level of technical service.
- Occasionally travel to customer sites, data centres and offices in Milton Keynes/Watford.

Key Skills
We're looking for experience across several of the following:
- Cisco / CCNP-level networking & Nexus switching
- Cisco ASA/Firepower
- Fortinet, Check Point or Palo Alto firewalls
- AWS and/or Azure
- Windows/Linux servers
- VMware ESXi/vSAN
- Load balancing and network monitoring
- Defender / Sentinel / SIEM
- HLD/LLD documentation
- ITIL, incident/change/problem management

About You
You'll be a proactive, self-motivated Network Engineer with:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer-facing ability
- The confidence to work independently and take ownership
- A resilient, can-do attitude
- Relevant networking qualifications, ideally CCNP or equivalent
