The Opportunity

I’m currently working with a professional services organisation specialising in the management and technology infrastructure of high-profile residential properties and luxury apartment developments across London.

They are looking to bring in an experienced Network Engineer to take ownership of the network environment across a number of high-profile sites.

This is a hands-on, site-based delivery role, with some flexibility for remote support when required. You’ll be involved in the implementation, configuration, troubleshooting and ongoing support of enterprise-grade network infrastructure, working closely with internal teams and other technology partners.

Longer term, the aim is for this person to become the go-to technical point of contact for networking within the business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting and maintaining enterprise-grade Cisco networking environments
  • Configuring and troubleshooting Cisco switches, routers and associated network infrastructure
  • Managing and supporting Fortinet firewalls
  • Designing and implementing VLANs and subnetting across complex environments
  • Supporting network infrastructure connected to CCTV, access control, building management and other control systems
  • Working across multiple residential and professional services environments
  • Carrying out hands-on network installations, upgrades and changes
  • Troubleshooting connectivity, routing, switching and firewall issues
  • Supporting network security and segmentation
  • Working with third-party suppliers and technology partners
  • Providing some remote support alongside the predominantly site-based role
  • Helping to establish best practice and improve the organisation's wider network infrastructure
  • Becoming the internal focal point and subject matter expert for networking

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
