Network Engineer

Woking / Hybrid

£50,000 + Benefits Package

An exciting opportunity to join a high-performance technology business developing innovative solutions across motorsport, automotive, transport, telemetry, connectivity, and electrification. Our client is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to support and develop complex, business-critical network infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments.

You’ll take ownership of network operations, security, performance, and infrastructure, providing 3rd-line support and helping deliver improvements across a technically advanced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure, including Cisco and Meraki switches, routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi
  • Administer Azure networking, including Azure Firewall, VPN, and vWAN
  • Support Zero Trust networking using Netskope ZTNA
  • Monitor network performance, security, and availability
  • Install, configure, and commission network infrastructure and load balancers
  • Manage incidents and service requests within SLA
  • Provide 3rd-line and on-call support for critical incidents
  • Maintain network documentation and records using NetBox
  • Troubleshoot complex environments, including multicast networking within motorsport
  • Support network security, intrusion detection, and infrastructure improvements

About You

You’ll have strong commercial network engineering experience, ideally across Cisco, Meraki, and Azure, with a solid understanding of network security and modern cloud technologies.

Experience with:

  • Cisco switching, routing, firewalls, and FMC
  • Cisco Meraki
  • Azure networking and security
  • Netskope / Zero Trust (Bonus but not necessary)
  • BGP, OSPF, and IPsec
  • DHCP, SNMP, RADIUS, and Ethernet
  • Network monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Multicast networking
  • Network infrastructure design

CCNA, Azure certification, or equivalent professional experience would be advantageous.
