Network Engineer

1 day a week in West London

I’m working with a global research organisation going through a major network transformation and they’re looking for a Network Engineer to come in and support delivery across a large-scale WAN roll out.

It’s a really good opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on but also wants exposure to design, documentation and working across a global setup.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting discovery of the existing network estate and helping map everything out properly
  • Assisting with design documentation (HLD/LLD) and keeping everything aligned as the programme progresses
  • Helping plan and execute migrations, including runbooks, cutovers and post-migration checks
  • Working closely with third parties and regional teams to coordinate delivery
  • Getting involved in security aspects (firewalls, VPNs, policy validation)
  • Running and supporting testing phases (functional, failover, performance)
  • Helping get everything ready for handover into BAU, including monitoring and NOC documentation

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
