What you'll do as a Network Engineer:
- Monitor and troubleshoot the network environment as part of a global team
- Design and implement network and security solutions
- Analyse and resolve network performance issues
- Provide expert-level fault resolution on advanced HFT network connectivity
- Work closely with development, data centre, and project teams
Experience required for Network Engineer:
- 5+ years' commercial network engineering experience
- CCNA/CCNP certified
- Strong Cisco experience
- Financial services background required
- Solid knowledge of OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and IPSEC
- Experience with client-server architecture and network support
- Scripting experience is a plus
- Experience securing network infrastructure, including firewalls, network segmentation, and access control
- Intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) and network monitoring for security threats
- Understanding of security best practice within a regulated financial environment
