🚀 Now Hiring: Network Production Engineer | Meta | UK
I’m currently hiring for a 12-month contract opportunity with Meta for a Network Production Engineer (IC5). This is a great opportunity for an experienced network engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of networking, Python, automation and large-scale infrastructure.
- Location: London, UK
- Working model: Hybrid – 1–2 days onsite
- Contract: 12 months
- Start: ASAP
- Experience: 7+ years
What we're looking for:
- ✅ Strong Python development experience
- ✅ Strong networking fundamentals – BGP, MPLS, TCP/IP
- ✅ Experience with network automation & provisioning
- ✅ Strong Linux experience
- ✅ Experience with network devices – Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Nokia or similar
- ✅ Experience with Ansible / CI/CD is a plus
- ✅ Comfortable using AI tools to support coding and automation

What you'll be doing:
- 🔹 Building automation for network provisioning and deployment
- 🔹 Developing automated testing frameworks for network platforms
- 🔹 Troubleshooting complex network and software issues
- 🔹 Supporting the qualification and rollout of new network products
- 🔹 Working with engineering teams across different time zones
- 🔹 Helping scale and automate a global network environment
