Network Engineer Required
Network Engineer required to join a major enterprise client on a long-term engagement, working on a hybrid basis across Manchester / Barrow, with competitive rates.
This role is only open to candidates who hold active SC clearance.
About the Role
You’ll join an established Network Operations Centre, supporting complex enterprise network environments across both BAU and project activities, with a strong focus on network stability, security, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.

- Troubleshoot, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure.
- Diagnose and resolve network incidents and connectivity issues.
- Implement network changes across complex environments.
- Support project activities alongside internal and external project teams.
- Provide operational support across network, security, and connectivity technologies.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement and development of network capabilities.

About You
- Strong enterprise networking experience with relevant networking certifications.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, including multi-site and multi-pod environments.
- Strong experience with Palo Alto, Panorama, Check Point, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA, and AnyConnect.
- Experience with VPN, Cisco ISE, SDA, and Citrix NetScaler.
- Enterprise Wi-Fi experience, including Cisco WLC or similar technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting experience across BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- In-depth knowledge of networking protocols including IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
