Network Engineer – Contract | Outside IR35
A leading telecoms client is seeking an experienced Network Engineer for an immediate-start contract opportunity.
Please note: live and active Security Clearance (SC) is essential for this position.
Network Engineer Role details:
- Role: Network Engineer
- Rate: £250–£280 per day
- Duration: Initial 2 months, with potential for extension
- IR35: Outside IR35
- Location: Remote, with travel to West Midlands and Southern locations including Reading and Bath when required
- Start: Immediate

Network Engineer Key responsibilities & skills:
- Configure routers and switches in line with network design documentation
- Racking and stacking network devices within data centres
- Strong experience across Cisco LAN and Wireless LAN technologies
- Strong understanding of switching, IP addressing, and networking best practice
- Expert-level experience with Cisco routers and switches, including platforms such as:
- Cisco 3850
- Cisco Nexus 9K
- Cisco ISR
- Cisco ASR
- Experience working within enterprise or telecoms network environments

Network Engineer Essential:
- Live and active SC clearance
- Strong Cisco networking experience
- Immediate or near-immediate availability
