About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer to join our expanding engineering team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex enterprise network infrastructures in a fully remote environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with at least two years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise networks. You will be responsible for supporting and troubleshooting a hybrid network environment, including managing firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, and cloud/on-premise networking solutions. Your expertise will help ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our clients' network operations. This position requires a high level of independence, problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate effectively without close supervision.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of enterprise-level network support experience.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls is essential (non-negotiable).
- Strong understanding of BGP routing protocols and network architecture.
- Experience with scripting and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Comfortable working independently, proactively seeking solutions and troubleshooting issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate remotely with diverse teams.
- Preferred: Exposure to Juniper networking, EVPN/VXLAN technologies, load balancing, and SASE solutions, particularly Prisma Access.
- Certifications such as PCNSA, PCNSE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Support, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Manage and maintain Palo Alto firewalls on a daily basis, applying best practices for security and efficiency.
- Configure, support, and optimize routing protocols, including BGP, across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Utilize monitoring and packet capture tools to diagnose and resolve network issues promptly.
- Participate in automation initiatives to improve network management and deployment processes, leveraging Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- Assist in the deployment and management of load balancers, VPNs, and other network services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement network solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and incident reports.
