About The Role
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Network Engineer Trainee to join our dynamic training program. This role is designed for individuals eager to develop their expertise in networking technologies and gain industry-recognized certifications such as Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, and Forescout FSCA. As part of the program, you will participate in extensive instructor-led online training, engage in practical, real-world projects, and collaborate with industry professionals to enhance your skills. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be supported in securing employment within the IT industry, leveraging our strong network of partner companies. Qualifications
While prior industry experience is not required, candidates should possess strong soft skills, including effective communication, enthusiasm for technology, and a proactive attitude. A basic understanding of IT concepts or a background in related fields can be advantageous but is not mandatory. Applicants should demonstrate a genuine passion for learning and a commitment to developing their networking skills. The program is open to individuals from diverse educational and professional backgrounds who are eager to embark on a career in networking.
Responsibilities
- Participate actively in over 100 hours of live instructor-led online training sessions covering networking fundamentals, cloud computing, security, and industry best practices.
- Prepare for and obtain four industry-recognized certifications: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, and Forescout FSCA, including resit opportunities if needed.
- Engage in hands-on, real-world project work designed to simulate professional networking environments and problem-solving scenarios.
- Collaborate with instructors and peers to enhance learning outcomes and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
- Apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations, demonstrating the ability to design, implement, and manage network solutions.
- Leverage support from Newto Training to connect with partner companies, facilitate job placements, and transition into a professional networking role.
