About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to join our dynamic team in the role of Project Engineer. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various renewable energy projects, primarily focusing on battery storage and grid integration solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a passion for sustainable energy. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects that have a meaningful impact on the environment and the energy industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and commercial departments, to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

The successful candidate will possess a relevant degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management within the renewable energy or power systems industry is preferred. Strong technical knowledge of battery storage systems, power electronics, and grid integration is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams. Project management certifications such as PMP or Prince2 are advantageous. The candidate should demonstrate a proactive approach, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of renewable energy projects.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams to develop technical specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Engage with clients, stakeholders, and contractors to communicate project status, address issues, and manage expectations.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project delays or cost overruns.
  • Ensure quality assurance and safety standards are adhered to throughout project execution.
  • Prepare comprehensive project documentation, reports, and post-project evaluations.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to incorporate best practices into project delivery.
  • Support business development efforts by providing technical expertise and contributing to proposal development.
