Network Support Engineer
The SIE Developer Technology Group brings together specialists across a range of technology and platform-specific areas, including Graphics, Systems, Submission, and Network technologies. We support game developers and publishers by resolving technical challenges, improving development processes, and providing solutions that help partners successfully develop and release content on PlayStation platforms.
The Network team works closely with first- and third-party developers and publishers, providing technical guidance on PlayStation network services, APIs, tools, and related technologies.
Job Description
As a member of the Network team, you will:
- Provide technical support and guidance to developers and publishers across all PlayStation platforms through our support portal, online channels, on-site visits, training sessions, and industry events.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of PlayStation network services, APIs, tools, and technologies, helping partners interpret documentation and implement solutions correctly.
- Investigate technical issues, identify appropriate solutions, and coordinate escalations with relevant internal teams where required.
- Collaborate with teams across SIE regions to resolve partner issues and develop solutions that improve the developer experience.
- Act as a technical liaison between developers, publishers, and internal groups including Third Party Relations, Store Operations, Consumer Services, Policy, Product, and SDK teams.
- Gather, document, and communicate partner feedback, recurring technical challenges, and opportunities for improvement to engineering and product teams.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of developer-facing tools, services, documentation, and internal processes.
- Participate in project and software development work, including enhancing existing tools, creating new solutions, and automating internal workflows.
- Deliver technical training and presentations to developers and publishers, including at partner meetings and developer events.

Required
- Familiarity with programming and scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, C/C++, XML, or HTML.
- Familiarity with APIs, web services, networking concepts, or online service technologies.
- Experience in digital technologies, software development, technical support, or the gaming industry.
- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate complex issues methodically.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to a range of audiences.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams and time zones.
- Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
- Proactive, collaborative, and approachable, with strong relationship-building skills.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond effectively to changing priorities and requirements.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have
- Experience in developer relations, developer support, technical support, or another partner-facing technical role.
- Experience developing internal tools, utilities, or automation.
- Experience with game development, production, or release management.
- Experience delivering technical training, presentations, or developer-facing documentation.
- An interest in emerging technologies, online gaming, network services, and broader industry trends.
