The role

Hexegic are looking for an experienced and versatile network engineer with a background in Cybersecurity, Cloud Engineer, DevOps, Networking Embedded Devices, or Novel Technologies. In this role, you will contribute to the secure design, development, and deployment of networking systems. You will work on exciting projects in a small but collaborative environment, with a high degree of autonomy.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain secure, reliable Network infrastructure
  • Set up and manage connectivity for Virtualization Clusters and end devices
  • Monitor availability and performance, supporting resilient networks
  • Use infrastructure as code to provision, configure, and manage services and devices
  • Design and deploy secure infrastructure
  • Build, configure, and deploy a variety of Networking Equipment and Devices
  • Collaborate with engineering teams and customers to improve deployment, integration, and operational support for applications and services
  • Investigate and apply new open-source technologies that can improve Network performance, security, and system reliability

What we are looking for

  • Expert in Networking – CCNA/Network+ qualifications are ideal
  • Experience in Routing, DNS Servers, Switches, VLANs, and Firewalls
  • Configuration and Deployment of VPNs and Zero Trust Networks
  • Cloud knowledge would be useful
  • Experience deploying and applying open-source tools and applications
